Hi.

Welcome to Bumblemom. As my name suggestions, I’m bumbling along as best I can as I navigate a new culture, kids, and style.

I left coordinating our annual family picture outfits until the very, very last minute this year, and found myself dashing through the mall one Friday afternoon trying to piece things together. My husband wanted to wear a yellow shirt and my son wanted to wear a blue polo shirt. I miraculously found a cute dress for my daughter in Zara kids that pulled together yellow, blue, and green. The yellow and blue were the perfect shades to match the boys’ tops, and as I dashed through Zara, I spotted this dress that miraculously fit me perfectly. Instant family pic outfits that looked coordinated, but not too matchy-matchy.

New:

Green Polka Dotted Dress: It’s from Zara, fits perfectly, but alas it is suffering from fast-fashion fall-apartedness. However, I like the color and cut so much that I’m contemplating taking it to a seamstress and getting a higher quality version made. It’s just that flattering.
